We don’t really have a history yet but we hope to have a great journey ahead of us.
Collectively, of course, we all have a lot of history. We have managed to bring together retail experience, accessible IT, research, and supply chain knowledge and combine all our enthusiasm and commitment to equal rights to create a new company.
Between us we know quite a bit about good design. What we don’t know we hope folk will share with us and help us to grow.
Possibly we don’t have the best business plan (in fact we are certain the Dragons wouldn’t back us!) we want to make a profit but we want to be a good company first and foremost. We want to try and change the world just a little bit. We believe that if we get our company right then the profit will follow, eventually.
How did we get started? Kay had an idea which she mentioned to Ken, who kind of liked it. Robert was asked if he thought it was a good idea and could he build it and Maryanne was asked if she could help grow it.
We then shared our idea with a few really useful friends who challenged us (a lot) and offered advice, as a result the idea got better and better, we had a few hiccups and it took a wee bit longer to get going than we first thought. However we finally believe we have enough to get us started in a small way and to grow steadily.
